Eaton H072 No Spin - Detroit Locker

Heard people call it either or, but, where can I find one?...

They're not being produced anymore, correct?

I'd like to get one for my new center section.

They are,,,,,,,,,sort of. You can use a 14 bolt detroit locker, and just use the 14 bolt axles. You may have to shorten the axles, but other than that its bolt in. A while ago I picked up a new in a GM box no spin for $200. It sits on my cool parts shelf.

What's the reason for needing the 14bolt axles, different spline setup?

Yes,finer spline count. But,I believe you also have to use the 14-bolt carrier. I've managed to run into used units for very reasonable money...until lately. It seems people are starting to want more than I'd pay for a 40 year old traction device.
