Rallye wheel hub hole....
There is a difference in the center hub hole size between a car rallye and a truck rallye....right? Any old rallye will not fit an '85 C10 will it? I have seen trucks with the five slotted rallye wheels though......

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
It's my understanding that car rallys have a different size lug pattern. IE: 5 on 4.5 instead of 5 on 5. or whatever the exact measurements are.

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
It was my understanding that all chevy 5 lugs were 5 on 4.5. I think F*rds were 5 on 5.

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
And I think as long as they are at least a 15" wheel, they should be able to fit. The 70's 14" rallye wheels will not work because they won't clear the caliper. But I haven't heard of some having smaller hub centers.

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
The aftermarket is who makes the 5 hole rallye wheels for our trucks. originally came on chevelles camaros and corvettes all with the same 5 on 4 3/4 bolt circle. The 5 hole rallyes your are seeing are aftermarket only and were never offered on our trucks. You can get them through year one, lmc or wheel vintiques and such.

The previously mentioned 5 on 4.5 is a Mopar pattern (or '63 Pontiac Tempest - lol). Corvette rallys are 5 on 4.75 bolt circle. 2wd truck wheels are 5 on 5. If you are still curious about the diameter of the pilot hole - I can't address that as I sit here but could measure one of each once within a matter of minutes after I get home. Let me know if you still want to know. K

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
Keith, I would definitely appreciate it. I'm going to look at a set Friday and want to be sure they will fit before I drop any money on them. I measured the hole on the spare which is a rally and it is 3" across.

Re: Rallye wheel hub hole....
The car style ralley wheels you have seen on c10s are aftermarket wheels. Wheel Vintique, Wheel Smith, Early Wheels, etc. FYI if you find after market wheels with 2 bolt patterns, the are 5 on 4 1/2 with 5 on 4 3/4. Which fit Mopar, small Ford, and small GM. Other wheels with 2 bolt patterns are the 5 on 5 with 5 on 5 1/2. Which fit big GM (c10-caprice-cadillac-etc) and Ford trucks. I believe the center bore hole is smaller on the car bolt patterns.
