How to replace fuel pump on an 87.
Hope you can read the pic of the procedure to replace the pump.

No, that is correct, remove bed, pop the lock ring, disconnect fuel lines and wiring and pull the bucket out. The fuel pumps are only held in by the rubber hose feeding up to the top of the fuel bucket...took me about 30 minutes per tank on my '87 TBI 454...
