Re: Longhorn owners?
Hope you don't mind. I looked up your pic thread and here are the pics. There is a lady in town whos husband passed away about 5 years ago and he had the same color longhorn as yours which he bought new. I tracked down the ladys son a few years ago to see if was for sale and yes it was for 12,500 which I figured was little much seeing it was small block with no A/C and the wood floor was shot. At that time it was being stored in the basement of the ladys condo where I presume it still is.

Re: Longhorn owners?
That is one clean 'horn. Love that color, I had a 70 CST half tonner the same color.
However, I was referring to the fact that Crazy Longhorn would tell us that he has chop, tilted, AND frenched his without showing us pics !! |

Re: Longhorn owners?
oh, sorry, I misunderstood.
Yup, that's the truck, good job finding the pics! I like the color too. Thanks for posting the pics. That women might want to sell now for less. And stored in the basement? OK. Protected from weather anyway. |

Re: Longhorn owners?
Also, for va72Longhorn....go to ya hoo, & type in Illinois longhorn. When you get to the 1 that says 47-72 board, there are a couple clips on the old truck. Late night, but you can see the frenched tail lites, & hear the exhaust rumble. Also check out the little black RAT , that rides with me, & the "pinapple on the shifter Sorry, the pics arent real good, but you get the idea..... crazyL

Yep, still kicking, 72Freak, just not quite as high. Still working on the 'horn. Been through a divorce since we last chatted so things have been a lil .... "overwhelming" is the word I'll use today.....lol. (between that and the farm) I did sell my '66 c60 though.
