Painted Front Bumper

$50 OBO for painted front bumper off my 68, brackets not included. I do have a few of the bolts, but I think 1 or 2 had to be cut off. No shipping. I want someone else to use, so don't be afraid to make an offer.

Re: Painted Front Bumper

I am interested. How close are you to the Charlotte area?

...I can only assume that by the Clemson flag in the background and the "Tiger" in your name, you must be close to Clemson?

Re: Painted Front Bumper

I'm 1 1/2 hour from Clemson. Not too far from Charlotte - less than 2 hours. Laurens is south of Greenville - right where I 26 and I 385 split. I usually go the back way to Charlotte through Chester and hit 77

Re: Painted Front Bumper

Is the bumper straight? Any issues? I am thinking about going with a painted bumper for a Blazer project. I had one for a '72 but I dont want the signal lights. I may be down around Kings Mountain at the end of Feb. That would cut out about 1/2 of the trip. haha.

Re: Painted Front Bumper

Its in good shape for a 40 + year old bumper. Its the original bumper from when my grandpa bought the truck. Its never been wrecked or anything. Little surface rust on the inside, and needs to be cleaned and repainted, but its definitely straight.

Re: Painted Front Bumper

OK, I'll have to see when my report date is for Kings Mountain. I will take it if you can wait until the end of February. Mapquest shows it at 2 1/2 hours from the house here. If you know of anyone coming to the Charlotte area sooner, I can meet them in the area.

Re: Painted Front Bumper

No problem - I've got it stored under my shelter. I can get you some more pics this weekend of just the bumper, so you can make sure it's what you want before the trip.
