After installing my accuair elevel sensors I have about 3-4 feet of coiled up wire on each corner.. that I have to tuck and hide up in my frame. I would really like to clean this up and make it look nicer. Is it possible to splice these wires and make them shorter? I've called accuair and left 3 messages for a tech to call me back and I have still not heard from them. My bro-inlaw is an electrician so I know we can do it the right way with the shrink wrap water proof connectors. Is that a bad idea? Anyone else done this and run into problems?

There should be no problem as long as you make good solder connections and then protect it from the elements.

We have modified harnesses many times as long as the wire inside is not a fibe roptic wire you should be fine. Looking at the wires on my E3 leveling sensors they do not look to be that kind so I would guess yes you can, however quadruple check before you cut.
