Putting glass back in a 49

Hi, I have been looking around YouTube and on this site for how to's on putting glass and seals back in a 49 truck. A video would really help since this is all new to me. Can a girl do it?
Thanks,
Jonna

Try the tech articles at Stovebolt.com.... Some great tips on installation! I followed them and did all my own glass on my 51!

Re: Putting glass back in a 49

No reason why you cant do it Jonna, the front and rears install in two different ways.
The fronts are fitted using string or cord to pull the rubber over the aperature, where as the rears are fitted with the rubber mounted to the body and the glass 'worked' into the rubber.
I haven't got round to it but I'm planning a tech tip regarding the front glass but here's a link to a few pictures for installing the rear glass.
I hope this helps.

Good luck!
