Forgotten 1963 Stepside
I was going through some old 1997 photos, and discovered the forgotten model I built for my step son was actually a 1963 to match the real truck he had at the time. The 63 grille came from Modelhaus. Although they no longer offer the complete resin truck kit, they do continue to carry the grille along with the promo style front and rear bumpers. The 63 body and chassis came from the new (at the time) 1960 AMT kit while the bed and hood came from the Revell stepside/boat kit. The GMC was primarily a Modelhaus resin kit, except for the bed and chassis which were also from the Revell stepside/boat kit.
