who made this trans ?

Ok so I have been thinking about a new trans and how I can use the ones that i have laying around the old three speed is on deaths door third to second shift down is pretty bad.

A friend of mine has one laying around but I am not sure if it will work due to the fact I have no clue what it is its a three speed on the floor with a low gear it was out of a 1980 c 10 4x4 with a i6. dose any one know who made thease trans . Are they any good I want to put it in to a 4x2 c 10 with a 355.
