Adjusting your hood so that it doesnt Pop Open On Bumpy Roads.

My hood seems to latch correctly when I close it,however when I go down a bumpy road it pops open. What is the proper procedure with adjusting the latch? Anyone else have this problem?

Mine does the same thing, doesn't fly open just pops up from the fully closed position

Turn the round ball on the latch on the bottom part 180 degrees it worked for me because mine was worn out really bad..

I adjusted the linked of the post and made it a little shorter so it closes tighter- Hood still pops open on brick streets. I will Try turning the cone to a different position too.

spray lube on the latch will probably fix your problem, did mine. The latch gets a lil rusty and dry and doesnt seat all the way in the closed latch position
