350 engines
Do these seem like good prices on built 350 engines? I like that you can get the Vortec Heads if you want.

Re: 350 engines
i wouldnt say there bad deals... but with a little bit of know how and about the same money you can build your own to out run any of these motors.

Re: 350 engines
you could build a pretty good pullin motor for 3k depends on what you know. or you could just refreash one for around 500-800 bucks if you do it your self

Re: 350 engines
355 to 365 HP = $2795 (387-396 ft lbs torque)
Nice motor. Pulls hard like my ZZ4 without costing $4500. The roller cam options is great option for daily driving, street machine and distance driving. |

Re: 350 engines
I agree with Frydaddys87, if your are pretty handy, pickup the book "How to rebuild your small block Chevy" available from most commercial autoparts stores. It helped me tremendously when I was younger and first starting out. It will give you a step by step. If you are the least bit anxious about doing it yourself, pick up the book and look through it before making your decision, reading the book will tell you whether you can do it or not. Anyway, thats my 2 cents worth, and the cost would be about $8-1200 to rebuild it.

Re: 350 engines
If I was 30 years younger and had a garage and the tools I would do it myself, but I'm retired and not the healthist so I was looking for other options. I just can't see driving to Arizona to get it done. But thanks for letting me know about the cost's,,, Maybe there is a shop in the florida panhandle that I can get it done after I get it painted.

Re: 350 engines
i do have to say tho the prrices on that page really isnt that bad. if you look in summit you would pay closer to 5k for a 350hp motor.
