Incredible Fab work

Ok, I know it is not a truck, and I know it is by a pro shop, but take a look at the beauty of this fab work.

Re: Incredible Fab work

Its amazing the skills that those guys have plus the artistry to create the look that they did. From the photos it appears that after the custom sheet metal was done all you had to do was wipe down the metal and shoot the paint.Looks like at least 200K I would say that some lucky guy slapped down on the counter and said call me when its ready......

Re: Incredible Fab work

I am not too sure about the beauty of the car either, but the fab work makes up for it. Maybe it would grow on you, kind of like your first ugly girl friend.

The fab is great, the car is still ugly to bad, and even old ugly girl friend don't grow on me no matter how you look at them.

The customer's choice for paint color and detail items isn't always the best choice.

You can't fault the workmanship that went into that car though. That is first rate fabrication with so many little tricks and detail items that will never get scene by most people who see the car.

I thought i was light after thinking how they get 150K for a bike, 2 wheels and a tank.It looks like he got what he paid for by far, that explains why the fab work looks like it does.

Re: Incredible Fab work

It is a million dollar car, met Alex a few times, and Jeremy from the Roadster Shop. They are first class fabricators, really known for their chassis work. Their sheetmetal fabrication is top notch, and standing on its own.... Awesome car....

I agree... I started out looking at the build and the further it went I started shaking my head. I fast forwarded to the end and saw the finished product and about puked. The dash and front lights just ruined it for me. With that being said the fab work is great and they were giving the customer what they wanted. Too bad it does not look like a Nova.

Re: Incredible Fab work

Amazing what time and $ can do. I also think that the workmanship is outrageous and not my choice for colour or some of the details. They did however have a 57 PU sitting over in the corner of the shop. I wonder what that build is going to look like?

This is a friend/neighbor of mine.
Amazing fabricator. Yes... it's a Ford (he also did another truck), but incredible.
Makes the panels from scratch.

Re: Incredible Fab work

That's first-rate fab work, for sure. It's too bad that they went overboard on the body, though. The '67 Nova is a beautiful body style, and when you start trying to get crazy on the mods, the finished product suffers.

The grille and headlight rings are disgusting, and I severely dislike all-black wheels. It's too bad. Great fab work wrapped in in an ugly skin.

For my money, nobody beats these guys:

Click on the "projects" icon at the top. You'll be there for hours. I've seen their stuff up close, and pictures don't do it justice. I just saw their Torino project at the Grand National Roadster Show, and it was incredible.

If I ever won the lottery........
