BF Goodrich t/a question..

Im running a american racing wheels -19 offset 15x8 on the front of my 74 swb gmc with 265/50/15 BF Goodrich T/A tires. I have a little rubbing since I have a 4 or 5 inch drop. I would like to get tires that arent so wide. Maybe a 235 or 245. My question is does BF Goodrich make these sizes? On thier website they dont have many T/A tires with a 50 aspect ratio. I dont want to get 60 aspect ratio. What other brand of tire is most similar to BFG's T/A's? Thanks

I use this:

It allows you to compare sizes and it will list the tires available in that size at the bottom. I'm sure it doesn't list all brands, but gives you a start.

The reason I dont want to get 60's is because the rears are 295/50/15 and they are pretty new. I just want to change out the fronts and want them to match.

Real close, 295 is a bit taller, BFG specs them as 26.7" and 26.6" overall diameter.

Like oldspowered67C10 stated, BFG lists the 295 as a little taller but they're about equal mathmatically.

If the fronts are 60 and the rears are 50 wont it look a little uneven? I currently have 265 50 in the front and 295 50 in the rear and to me it looks awesome. The fronts rub just a little bit. I guess ill just buy some spacers. Why doesnt bf goodrich make 245 50 to match the 295 50 or 295 60 to match all the 60 tires?

Ill look when i get home. Im sure i have a pic with 295 and 245s on 8s and 10s if you go back to my old posts youll see a pic of it. The idewalls are all most identical.

There's more to overall height than just the 60 vs 50 aspect ratios. Do the math:

50% of 295mm = 147.5mm
60% of 245mm = 147mm

It took me a long time to understand this about tire sizes for some reason...
