Re: harbor frieght blasting cabinet?
I live 15 minutes from TP tools, like everyone else said you can't go wrong with them for parts and service.

Re: harbor frieght blasting cabinet?
I use an 80 gallon Ingersoll Rand. Tried it with a small 5 gallon home model and it was ridiculous how fast the pressure would drop to the point of unusable. Most important is run a dryer or in line water trap, no matter how good your compressor, if you have wet media it won't work well.

Re: harbor frieght blasting cabinet?
I've got an older version of this....http://www.tptools.com/p/432,367_780...t-Cabinet.html
side load, It needs sealed and more light. I added a cheapo lamp inside and it helps a bit but its always a fight to see when your blasting. to do it over I'd build one myself or maybe mod a HF. Not that mine is bad. I'm just cheap.

Re: harbor frieght blasting cabinet?
Check out the Barrel Blaster. I just got one and like it. Made in TX.
Paid about $299. I use it with my shop vac. and run it with an 80 gal used Snap On compressor I got off of CL in NC.

replacement blast cabinet gloves from ebay. cheap work light from harbor freight. 2 peices of 5 inch pipe for arm holes. siphon feed blast nozzle from tractor supply. scrap 2x4s to make a frame for the glass. I used a table saw to cut the boards at an agle and made a cut to slide the glass into. local glass shop cut a peice of glass to the size I needed for like 8 dollars. make a stand to mount it on. I use my big craftsman shop vac in the hole on the lid and it sucks all the dust out of the barrell, just remember to clean the filter often. Also cut a hole on the opposite side of the barrel to pull fresh air in.
