i drove about 250 mi 100 mph it took 2 full tanks so i guess
10 mpg

Sick, Im putting a big block in right now, my worn out 350 with ramhorns was getting about 11...why not opt for X2 the torque for 1mpg loss? haha

I didn't understand the last part but i'll try my interpretation

haha im only 18, not much knowledge here, first motor build. If you don't want to tear it apart for more HP you can add a holly carburetor, headers, ignition, intake, camshaft, and clean up the drive train. Lighter drives haft, light flywheel etc so there is less parasitic loss.

If you really want power without going crazy get a mini blower, puts out maybe 2-8lbs of boost. Weiand makes one I think
