Has anyone tried a RAMJET 350 in our trucks - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have been searching for the right combination of reliabity and power for my 72 Chev Cheyenne I am restoring. I have done quite a bit of reading on the ramjet 350 and looks like that may be a good choice. Has anyone put this in one of their trucks?

Thats what I'm going to drop in. Seems to be the right motor for me.

How could it be wrong? It has good torque,EFI, and fair HP with a new engine and factory backed warranty.The reliability of GM crate engines is known and the economy should be OK considering it's a V-8.If it were a dog no one would buy one and GM would discontinue it.The only drawback I can think of is if you want more power later you have the fuel injection that somewhat limits mods without reprogramming the ECU.
