Disc brakes on my 66 GMC

I picked up a 66 GMC recently and it already had a power disc brake conversion done on it. I now would like to order dropped spindles for it but have no idea what conversion was done....71 spindles....73 or newer spindles...etc so before i ordered my new spindles what should I check to see what year of brakes it has on it?.....New to this Chevy/GMC truck thing...lol

Can you get a pic from farther back specifically of the a-arm bushings? The tab circled makes me think its a 71-72 set-up as that's how the lines were connected @ the front x-member.....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

SCOTI,... isn't that behind the crossmember?
Like the 67-70 trucks had?
71-72's were on the front side.

Re: Disc brakes on my 66 GMC

You are going to have to figure out which balljoints and outer tie rods you have now.
That's the only way to know what spindle is currently on the truck.

I assume the rotors are 1-1/4" wide and not 1" wide?
