Unhappy Carb problem..

250 inline 6. from idle if you romp on it its very hesitant, and it a DRINKING gas like crazy i almost got rid of the truck because of this. and if your cruising down the highway about 55-60 and you hold the clutch in to coast it will cut off after about 10secs its been like this since ive got it last may. ive already replaced plugs and plug wires. its a 1bbl

Re: Carb problem..

i dont now much about 1 barrels. but my race holley was dumping fuel into the engine like crazy, turns out the the primary needle and seat was clogged. and was fuel literally dumping into the the engine. maybe look into that.

Re: Carb problem..

thanks i planned on either getting a new carb or rebuilding this one. but when it runs you can smell it. it uses about 1/8th of a tank on a 20 min drive
