Not necessarily doing it yet. I'm working on getting the truck right now. The guy wants $850 for it and I would have no problem paying that, but I don't have the cash. So I'm trying to get it on trade for some other stuff I have, I would love to get this truck though.

If it were me, which I know its not, I would wait and save a little cash, and buy a different truck. If the engine needs work already, and the floors and rockers are rusted thats alot to take on for this type of truck. You can buy a rust free running one for around $1200-$1500.

Around here where I live you don't find rust free trucks. I know people who have 2005 or newer trucks with bad rust on them. And if I get it I want to convert it to a diesel.

If theyre hard to find near you rust free then by all means jump on it. Diesel is the way to go for sure.

Usually they are that don't cost out the a**. I want a 1-ton diesel because the family is thinking about opening our own RV business. So this one would be perfect.
