Anyone have Vintage Air??

Looking for some pics or info on the Vintage Air setups. Can't really tell from the pics on their website what the final install looks like. I'm thinking about running the full blown deal with heat/ac but not really diggin the control panel they use. Looks a little bulky to me. Also kind of just want one A/C vent on each side of the dash, keeping the center open. Could really use some input on this big decision, thanks fellas!

I am kind of interested also, the cost is high, so I hope would be worth it. I have kind of got used to the cheap ac, (windows open) even here in hot blazing Texas.

Here is mine but I didn't buy a kit, just the evaporator and controller.I have since gotten rid of the plastic vents and ran an aluminum plate all the way across and inset the vents into it.

WOW, you nailed it!
That's exactly what I was looking for! A couple quick questions now..
How much space did that kill in your glove box area, is it still usable?
Did the kit come with the ducting and the vents?

Thanks!

My Kit came with everything. You lose approx 2/3 of glovebox area.

Re: Anyone have Vintage Air??

SK,

The universal GEN4 evaporator kit comes with the ducting, and wiring. No controls, no vents, no hoses. So you customize with the controls and vents.

What sbss said, you lose about 2/3 of the glove box. I plan to make a short insert box to allow use of the last 1/3.

TR, I got a small box from LMC. It was listed as Glove Box-Air. Worked great. 12.95
