Re: fiber optic gear selector

$25 shipped for all three items in the pic, correct? Forgive my ignorance but never have had any experience with auto columns. Have had my '71 4x4 standard shift for neary 26 years and am just now gathering items to switch to an auto 4x4 due to knee problems. Would prefer not to get rid of my stick shift but prefer even less not to be able to drive the truck,. No condition problems with any of the three pieces? If all good for drop in use I'll do the $25 shipped. Don't have Paypal, I use money orders only. PM payment info if good to go.

Re: fiber optic gear selector

Yes, the price includes everything in the pic although there are only 2 pieces. the cable, pointer and connector are all one piece. There is some torn insulation on the cable near the pointer as shown in the pic, but that shouldnt affect its operation as it is fiber optic. perhaps some black tape to be sure. I have no way to test this and not sure how it connects underdash.
Perhaps someone who has used these can chime in as to installation. Are you convertinng a standard column to an auto.?
If so it might be easier to just pick up a new automatic column.
Don't want to sell you something you can't use.

Thanks,
Denny

Re: fiber optic gear selector

Denny, I'll take the fiber optic pieces for the $25 shipped. PM me your address and I will get a money order out to you shortly provided a money order is acceptable. Don't have a Paypal account. I'm switching from a floor shift 4 spd. tilt to a stock non-tilt auto in my '71 4x4. Will be switching the sm465/np-205 to the TH350/np-205 set-up hence the need for the auto column. Have the 4x4 auto linkage courtesy of ORANGEBLAZ and the trans/transfer coming from LINELOCK via HeavyMetalChevy shipping assistance. (If any of you guys reads this post, thanks again for making this happen for me!) Have the auto floor shift tunnel and found a column so the pieces are coming into play.
