ride quality bag vs spring
which has a better ride? are they pretty close to each other?

depends on the set up, and the bag pressure, but... bags along with shocks ride really smooth. at least mine does. a lot smoother than the stock ride.

If its bagged right air bags will ride a lot smoother then a normal steel spring does.

from my own experience with my truck air bags are 100% smoother ride,,,,

thnx for the replies. i am border line clueless on bags, are some bags better than others or are u just paying for the name? also would i be able to piece together a setup cheaper than buying a kit?

Does anyone run bags for just a really mild drop, but more so for ride quality? I would think a simple cheap setup could be built to lower the truck a couple inches and just have a really smooth ride. I don't really care to slam my truck, but it would be cool to have something that rides really smooth. Most all of the systems I've seen are to put the truck in the weeds...

My truck is the first bagged ride I have ever had...was sceptical at first...but, these guys are right...if done right...it IS way better than a spring set up. Bags have been around for a long time.
