Sitting sidwayz
Okay this is a pretty commen problem with these years of trucks the rear sits a little lower on one side looking from the rear. Mine is the drivers side about 1.5 yes the truck is lowerd but it has the same problem at stock height . It only really is like this in the rear. What could I do to fix this ?

Re: Sitting sidwayz
Your rear leafs probably lost there arch. Mine did same thing. I Installed suburban leafs and no more lean. I think because of the rear gas tank verses the side tanks. Does it lean on side of your gas tank?

Re: Sitting sidwayz
Mine had the lean pretty bad, passenger side was higher than driver side. After I lowered my truck and replaced the bed (did both at same time) it sits level again. I did shackles/hangers out back and spindles/cut coil up front. So mine had to be either a twisted bed or hangers/shackles being off somehow.

Re: Sitting sidwayz
My right side was a lot lower, it was obvious looking at the leaf spring that the arch was not the same as the left. *I was going to get the springs re-arched but took a gamble at the junkyard and purchased one side for $40.00, worked great. *For once I was able to get by with something cheap. *
It's funny how many of these old pickups you see driving around leaning to one side.* Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Sitting sidwayz
Mine did the same thing. I actually just ordered new leafs for both sides. I already replaced almost the entire suspension so I figured Id just spend the extra coin and call it good.
