My first Chevy SWB
Every day for the last few years I would drive by a 1972 Chevy SWB hoping I would see a for sale sign in the window. This past weekend my wife and I drove by and noticed the guy had bought a new jeep, I told my wife I bet he is going to sell that truck. Sure enough Sunday evening he put up the sign and the next morning I was driving her home. I have big plans for the truck but with a little girl due in a few weeks I know its going to be a long time before the truck is done but for now it runs, drives, and has ac and heat. But most of all there is NO RUST!!!!!!!!!!! Below are some pics I got this afternoon will have better pics this weekend.

Re: My first Chevy SWB
Looks like a great start for you, even if it does have stupid A/C. JK, really I'm jealous.
Good luck with your project and your little girl.

Re: My first Chevy SWB
Looks like a good one to me. Shortbed rustfree with A/C. Going to make a real fine truck!

Re: My first Chevy SWB
Thanks guys. The truck has a really bad paint job, they painted over the original paint with a single stage paint 12 years ago. It's faded, pealing and cracking. Paint is really the only thing needed I plan to drop it, detail engine compartment, and change out interior but paint is the first thing on my list.
