Should harness seatbelts - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Is there a factory location for shoulder harness seatbelts or do I have to drill a hole. My truck is at the body shop so I cant walk out and look at it.

There should be a couple spots for the factory shoulder belts on either side of the cab.They are in the rear corners of the upper part of the cab.Some are covered with factory plugs made of plastic

If i pull the plug out - is it threaded behind it for a bolt?

Should be a plastic plug in the cab for that shoulder upper belt. So no drilling should be in order. (threaded)
A question I would like answered is if shoulder belts from other years will mount correctly in that location without modifications. Like S-10's or blazers etc. Since reproduction to fit our trucks are so costly.
