Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Thanks AGAIN Topfuel, sure wish I could achieve this without having to graft another end onto the filler neck... maybe modify one of the caps from the link you provided.
Regarding the roll pan rear, I like 'em both ways. The P.O. installed the roll pan. He'd cut the frame clean with a sawzall and gave me the pieces when I bought it. Guess I could tack 'em back on and buy a bumper...

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

I've been mad at 'ol "JIMMY FOUR EYES" since my air ratchet smacked me in the mouth while I was putting the new bumper on. My lip healed up... can't stay mad too long. I had a better looking grille and headlight trim. His face scrubbed up pretty good. I think he's a "wannabe" 4wd.--- stock height susp., roll bar, and a spare tire carrier.

Thanks Tony! I'm still really pleased that I found and bought this Blazer. It seems to thrive on being run HARD. I have a wish list of improvements I'd like to make but I don't have time. I'm too busy blasting around in it enjoying it.

I didn't know so few 2wd Jimmy's were made when I bought it.. still don't know 'zackly how many. Apparently production numbers aren't available. My intention was to have it kinda like my Blazer, lo-tech, Big Block, 750 holley, stick, loud, lowered some, no top. I was gathering parts & pieces. THEN I saw jeffg1010's post about the ochre/white Blazer being for sale. LAZY ME thought it be more fun to DRIVE the Blazer than WORK on the Jimmy..... I was right. The Jimmy is about a "20 FOOTER", plenty rusty covered with shiny paint. Notice I take crappy cel. phone pictures of it. It runs & drives good and I don't worry much about parking lot bumps and nicks. My older Son thinks I should GIVE it to him....
