Quick Question ...

Hey guys,

A really good friend of mine just picked up a 1966 SWB Fleetside Chevy as a project for him and his 14 year old son. He plans on "restorodding" this ol' gal and give it to his son for his 16th birthday.

Anywhoo .... he is in need of some window regulators. Now, here is my question. Are the regulators from "our trucks" (67-72) the same as the 60-66 model years?

I ask because I have a couple of sets and was going to give them to him if they would work.

Thanks a ton!
Shane

They won't interchange. '66's are cool... That's a lucky kid.

66 trucks are cool.
Don't forget to look in old one ton and bigger trucks for parts on these, seems more 60 - 66 trucks were c-40 and up then there was 67 - 72 C-40 and up.
Also, many school busses were 60 - 66 cowl/chassis trucks, some real good fenders and hoods for them can be found on such busses.

Yup, and most of the underpinnings are the same as ours.
I have been told that the van tilt will work too, but you probably need the 69 & up intermidiate shaft to do it. (this info off of the 60 - 66 board on this site)
