Re: ididit or flaming river

do you know if the flaming river can have an overdrive gear indicator for a 700r4 or do I have to just deal with it shifting beyond the indicator? I looked at the classic link you had in the other thread and Im not sure if it was just for the ididits but they had the indicator that I was talking about. not sure if they light up either hers the link http://www.classicparts.com/1947-87-...ctinfo/77-372/

Re: ididit or flaming river

what kind of shift linkage do you have to get to complete the flaming river auto column? I found that they offer an od indicator you just have to ask for it when ordering or just get the indicator they sell.

Re: ididit or flaming river

I do also have AT tilts:
Polished stainless with chrome
Paintable stainless
Notice how close they are in appearance to our truck tilts.

Re: ididit or flaming river

how much for the AT polished chrome and how much for the paintable?

something Ive been wondering about with these columns as well, on the stock columns they have something on the bottom of the column that prevents shifting into reverse from drive or vice versa. do these new columns have this built in? just curious, dont wanna hit a bump in the 4x4 and jump gears.

Re: ididit or flaming river

Flaming River has the same shift stop detents as the OEM columns. You can't shift into reverse without lifting the handle. Only one column each at last year's discount prices:
$595 paintable stainless
$695 chrome & stainless
S/H is $20 US a little more Canada

Re: ididit or flaming river

Do you still have these columns. Or a keyed column.

Flaming River shift indicators (auto trans) are lighted and a close design of our truck columns. I have two of these left at last year's volume buy discount prices. Again go to my other thread...above.
Hello, Are you still a dealer for Flaming River? I am looking for a column shift column for a 65 C10.
Thank you...
