Re: Post pics of lowest spring set-up

guys i've got drop spindals, drop springs that i cut a coil off, then i moved the cross member up in the rails 2 inches, notched front rail for steering to clear, moved shock mounts, new motor mounts, new trans cross member, new trailing arm cross member, new rear shock mount cross member, z'd rear frame 4 1/2 inches and you cant tell, when i z'd the frame i did it vey tasfully, you can look at it not tell that it is z'd, i have 4 inch drop blocks and drop springs. The front i had to narrow the front a arms 1 1/2 inches so that i could turn. I work at a rod shop and we had a customer that wanted air ride, so we got him the rear air bar kit and front a-arms and bags with drop spindals, and all the digital controls, i think the kit was like 6500 from air ride, well he was upset that he was aired out and i was two inches lower than him. I've got about 200 in steel to get the frame down. i already had all the springs and spindals.

Not knocking your work.... but he wasn't set-up w/the correct air ride kit. If he spent $6500 on Ride Tech products, he got what he paid for (a set-up that's not made to lay out or go much lower than 2-3" beyond stock ride height).

Porterbuilt products would have been a better choice for extreme air-ride drop as would other companies....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
