02 4l60e swap in 72 c10 shifter help

I won't to run a rod shifter from lokar anyone have any ever use them the tail shaft mount or the regular mount just wondering where it will pop out of the cab

I have that setup. I will get some pics/measurements soon. I believe mines the top mount.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Lokar Shifter installed with a 1998 4L60E with the matching 98 Vortec.

The picture of the underside of the tranny, if you look closely, shows the patch from the previous shifter hole. I would say the center of the new hole sits at the back edge of the old hole or even a little further back..

Let me know if additional pics or measurements would help.

I think i'm running the 12" handle. It sits in a nice spot for reach and doesn't interfere with anything. I really like it.
