Headlight pin out
Hello, Im looking for what the pin out is for a stock headlight switch. I have the wire colors traced down and I need to know which pin is which.

Thanks, but I have these diagrams. Im looking for a diagram of the headlight switch and which color wire to each pin. there are 8 pins on the switch. These diagrams dont show you enough detail.

On my 63.
If you hold the switch in your left hand with the curved metal section pointing down. Starting from the top....... RED below that' PURPLE on the right, Black and Brown on the left. Below them..... EMPTY on the right, double ORANGE on the left. Below them....... LIGHT BLUE on the right,EMPTY on the left. Below them............. WHITE on the right, GREEN on the left.

When I use a test light on the switch, I have power coming in at the top post. When I pull the switch to the first position, the only pin that is hot is the Purple. When I pull the switch to the second position, the purple is not hot but the Light blue is. When I use both positions of the switch, these are the only two connections that are hot. What I have had to do is wire everything to one post so all my lights come on. The question here is, why are none of the other post getting hot? This is a new switch I have been working with. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure if this will help, but it shows a close up of the switch and wiring, and the jumper needed to keep the parking lights on with the headlights:
