thanks (keith) does that apply if i want to stick to my 6 lug could i still use those years? with 6 lug????
(joedoh) yep i got lucky with it.. - what kind of headers can i use ?? i would like to have long tube headers that would bolt up to my 69 350 in the truck that will go on perfectly with out cutting anything in the truck? |

Hedman #69260's are the headers that are intended for the '63-'66 trucks. You can also use Hedman #69090's, but if you have a manual trans, the clutch bellcrank is a close fit.
As for the 6 lug disc brakes, that is all explained in the link I posted above. You can use the '71-'87 spindles with 6 lug aftermarket rotors.

From what I've read 60-62 GMCs had trailing arms and 63-66 had leaf springs.
