Being an operator...and a truck enthusiast...I can appreciate the time that went into this...BUT....how usefull would it really be???

buy the truck, buy a trailer and buy a log chain.


hook the trailer to the truck, back the trailer to a tree, hook the log chain to the backhoe and the tree.


drive forward until the backhoe is where it should be.

I saw one of those years ago on a army flatbed headed north, it was camo'd, i dont think it was that big though, the bucket that is.

That's why its a "government" vehicle, usefull doesn't always have to be in the equation in their case.

the Army has a lot of these, most soldier's hate em. they complain that the front bucket dont dig well.
it's not design'd to dig, the idea was to dig with the backhoe and backfill with the bucket.
the truck is a Unimog with a Case backhoe, not sure about the loader.
the C30 would be just fine for light utility work or for a landscaper.

Round here that wouldnt do much but scratch about 2 inches down. We dont use backhoes for ditch diggin we use saws
