McGaughys spindle backorder?!@?!
Just curious if anyone knows where to track down a set of 2.5" spindles for an '84 C10. I have had an order in with Summit for about five months now. The ship date keeps getting pushed back. Anyone have a clue what is up with them? Surely they haven't stopped making them?! My 4" drop leafsprings were backordered for a long time as well, but I got those finally. Just waiting on the spindles so I can finally drop the truck!

Look at the board vendors.
Porterbuilt Direct just had a special on CPP Modular spindles.

They are suppose to ship out next week they say. We shall see, they responded to me on Facebook and said they are undergoing a change in ownership currently. That makes sense as to the backup. If they don't ship.. I will definitely be going to Porterbuilt for some CPP spindles. I was looking at the vendors here the other day and noticed he was selling them now.

way2lo2 has a great price on the McGaughy spindles. Ordered mine Monday and received them today.

Just to update everyone, they have shipped today! Props to Summit for the great customer service, and contacting Western Chassis to inquire and props to Western Chassis for getting on the ball and squaring it away! I know how messy things can get when there is a change of ownership, and they took care of this promptly!
