Vibratory tumblers,,, experiences,reviews.

I have been looking at purchasing a vibratory tumbler for cleaning small parts and hardware. I would like to hear your experiences, and overall opinions on these machines.

Thank You !!

I used them to clean brass for reloading, the media is not agressive enough to really clean. Think of them as a way to polish. I run mine for about 2 hrs.
Maybe a small blast cabinet or something ran off of compressed air

for cleaning rusty parts they arent any good, and ur parts bettery be oil n grease free.

for small parts nuts n bolts get a metal coffee or paint can, punch some holes in the bottom and just keep shaking and blasting in the can, only takes a few min and they get pretty clean.

I reload so I thought I would give it a try , not a great way to clean the parts. When I own a bead blast cabinet with vac that you can fit a Bug rear hood in.. BUT there is a rather new media that is SS wires. You will find this product on the reloading forum etc. Guys use it on brass as well. I have not but have read great reviews. Might be something to look into

Wow !! I thought there would be more users of the vibratory tumblers. I think I'll save my money and get a decent blast cabinet. Thank you for the information and replies !

Take care everyone !!

It would work but it is very slow. I would look into the it may be faster, I do not know but worth a phone call. If it owrks you might have the next best thing for nouts and bolts, etc.

one of the magazines did a comparison; eastwood vibrator vs beadblast.
i wasn't impressed with the vibrator, it cleaned the head but not into the sae marks on the head.
same with the threads. cleaned the tops, but not into the threads (where it counts).
