Question parts questions

ok theres a spot on my flexplate where the teeth are completly gone. what would yall suggest on a good flexplate starter combo? plus what alternator do ya'll recomend that looks good, performs and last's? What kind of water pump is high quality and looks good? im taking out a loan for an engine and this is some of the stuff i need to replace.

Get a good quality flexplate. The cheap imported ones seem to break easily.

I would recommend a Stewart Stage 1 or a Stage II (cast aluminium) high flow water pump.

Flexplate, don't know which one to recommend, but get a good one. Get a good starter also, AC Delcos are good. Stay away from anything imported.

Alternator, if you want one of the best, IMO, get a Powermaster. I have the chrome 37293, 140 amp.

Water pump, not but one I would use. The Stewart stage 1 if you want to go with cast iron, Stage 2 if you want aluminum. I have the Stage 2 on my truck. Edelbrock only wishes their pumps were as good as the Stewarts.

anyone know where i could buy a stewart water pump ,a powermaster alt. and a crate engine at online thats priced fairly cheap?
