Found a weird truck..89 square w/90's grill?

At pull-a-part today I came across at square body I believe was labeled an '89 or '90, it had a utility box bed and a 90's chevy grill. I had never seen a truck like that, any idea what it could be?
I did take the front windshield from it, looked almost brand new w/imbedded antenna $35, had to been recently replaced cause the weather stripping was soft and black still.

88-91 blazers, suburbans, crew cabs, and some reg cab one tons were square body with side by side headlights.
