dana 60,70

I have a set of diffs from a dodge the front is a dana 60 and rear is a dana 70.

Will they bolt up to a 73-87 chevy? If not what needs to be done?

thank you

Re: dana 60,70

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the front axle will bolt right in. The rear you may have to cut the spring perches off and relocate them cause i think the chevy frame is narrower than the dodge frame.

It looks like it. Here's a handy page to help identify axles by using the cover and other tidbits. http://coloradok5.com/axleguide.shtml

Re: dana 60,70

The dodge Dana 60 spring perches are about a half inch different. Wich makes for a quarter inch on each side so you will just have to push the leaf spring over a little bit to make it fit. But it does fit and people do it all the time.
