for that price i'd rather spend alot less and get a custom seat done at the local shop

It is the right color for your build but you could have yours rebuilt for a lot less I would think.

Yea and still have money left over for other things. I can see where he is coming from, i'm sure it was unbelievable work, but then again he had just the fabric up for sale for $1200 in MA couple months ago.
