A cool twist on adding 3 point belts
I searched alot of threads for good ideas for 3 point seat belts and wasnt to impressed with some of the aftermarket stuff. I just wanted something to look at home since my resto is as original as I can get it. So I called Seatbelt solutions and asked if he could add my original buckles to a set of his aftermarket pickup truck belts. Even better he offered to put new Gm buckles on for me at no extra charge. I also had him make me a center belt while I was at it. Now I have a set of belts that looks really close to home and fit very well. I put these in my build thread but figured I'd share them here too for everyone to check out. Cost for all three belts and shipping I think was $300-$350, I dont really recall.

Looks nice. Is the webbing thick like a factory belt, most aftermarket stuff feels very flimsey?

Are the belts mounted in original seatbelt holes? They look very nice.

Re: A cool twist on adding 3 point belts
No. with the original tank in place that cant be done. I used to large plastic rivets with a little sealer on them to plug the original holes and than mounted these. Wasnt too happy to have to drill a hole in the new floor pan, but without the three point my son cant come along and thats more important!

Re: A cool twist on adding 3 point belts
I think they came from autoloc, but I'll have to check.
