I wanted to tell you guys about a car show here locally,September 13, 2003.. I talked to the boys that are responsible for it, and was today told they had over 200 cars& trucks pre-registered, this is located about 90 miles east of Dallas in Emory, (at lake fork) on the square, at
hwy 69+hwy 19. registation starts at 8:00am, with awards at
3:00 pm. there are several prizes given for (ie paint, interior, engine, etc) with door prizes like a trailer, and money on the hour.
this is a nice show with quality vehicles, I will be there after 2:00pm, and if anyone is interested I will make plans to meet them,

Also this is when we have our county fair, with a parade that morning that goes by the car show, so aside from the car show
there are plenty of things to see, and do, in walking distance, of the square.

Cool! Thanks for the heads up, I will forward this to our East Tx club members.

On a side note, this coming Tuesday, Sept. 2nd will be the monthly cruise-in for the Southern Bowties for the East Tx area. The cruise-in will be held at the square in Gilmer. Every month this meet grows more and more. I will be making the trip out there, as will a couple other DFW members to show our support.

ok, Last time I will bother you with this one, exept for some pictures afterward, the show is this Saturday, I will be there as soon as possible after 2:00,I have to close the parts house, therefore,I will be wearing my work shirt,
it says (parts plus )above the pocket, I know That at least one other board member is suppost to be there (Fuelcellguy), come if you can, and look forward to some pics, sunday or monday...John
