66 headlight mounting questions
Trying to mount the headlight backing plates on my 66. Got them from LMC and the holes are 1/2" off. Anyone have any pictures that show the orientation of the stuff behind the grill?
Thanks

Re: 66 headlight mounting questions
Not sure if your talking about where the grill mounts to the headlight mount panel or where the buckets attach to the grill.
This is all I have right now.

Re: 66 headlight mounting questions
Thanks for the picture, that helped a lot. Got it figured out now, it was me, not the part.

Re: 66 headlight mounting questions
Hey there Alan! What exactly are the square openings for? I'm assuming some kind of alignment screw but do those actually serve a purpose for keeping the headlight in place against the grill?
Thank you sir!! |

Re: 66 headlight mounting questions
Chief, I believe you are referring to the headlight adjusters. They hold the bucket in along with a spring. The trim ring holds the bulb to the bucket.
