New 20" wheels, right size? Check it out.

Please help, I want to make sure before I drop all this coin I buy the right size.
I tried to do as much research as I could on this site and this is what I came up with.
These will go on my 1979 Chevy with a complete Air Ride Tech lowering kit.

I'm buying from this place and I included the part numbers below.
http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...838?size=20x10

SERIES 338 CHROME by BOSS MOTORSPORTS WHEELS
REAR
20 x 10

MPN: 338220851AA

Front

5 x 127
14mm Offset
MPN: 338228501AA

Thanks,
Mark

I assume you know about all the fitment issues with the Boss 338 wheels and the front rotors?

That website has terrible prices.
You should be able to find all 4 wheels for around $800-$1000.

No, never heard such a thing. I'm upgrading all my brakes to larger rotors & calipers from Wilwood.
What's the issue with them?

Thanks

The stock rotors need to be machined or ground to fit the wheels.
There is a SUPER LONG thread on here that I started back in 2009.
It runs up to this year.
All 45 pages of it.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=352320

Boss came out with a new design,... but never fixed the problem.

The short story,... These wheels were designed for the 88-98 Chevy/GMC trucks.
The rear backspacing of the 20x10's is a little too much for the 67-87 trucks.
Most people run spacers on the rear wheels and grind the nose of the stock front rotors to get the wheels to bolt on.

Thanks for all the info and the better prices.
Looks like this isn't as cut and dry as I thought. I might look into a different wheel.
My second choice was the Boss 340 wheels.

Re: New 20" wheels, right size? Check it out.

Lots of people are running these wheels.
The grinding of the rotors issue, isn't that big of a deal,... you should just be aware of it.
The Boss 340 wheels could have the same issue,... I don't know.

Have you looked at Coys C5 wheels or even the Streeter wheel from Showwheels?
http://www.coyswheel.com/coys.html

http://www.showwheelsusa.com/wheels/...l.php?Series=6

They bolt on with no mods.

Whoa! Those 20" Coys C5 wheels are really nice, no mods bolting these up at all?
This is the old school style I'm looking for.

I don't think so.
Many members on here have them.
(you might have to flatten the dust cap a little).

Look here for more pics:

Here's my favorite truck with the C5's,...

Beautiful truck!!
Another wheel I LOVE is the Foose LEGEND F105.
The 10" rear rim has a 20mm offset, will that work?
Have you heard about anyone running this wheel?

Sorry for so many questions, this has been a painful task finding the right wheel for my truck.
