Hi guys, for years i have owned a 79 GMC SC with 7.4 lt 454, bucket seats, turbo 400 tranny, gray and silver paint, in the fleetside body style. i am about to restore her back. i have never been able to find out much about this truck. as in how rare is she. could anybody share some light on this for me or tell me where i might find out.

it was at one time, i took it out and trying to remember where i put it. thats going to be a search in itself.

this is what i remember about the options, bucket seats with console, wiper delay, am/fm duel 16 gallon tanks,special wheels, cruise, tilt, 373 rear end, ac, 7.4 lt 454, i never found top end lol, but i did take her all the way back to 20 out on interstate. out ran 3 of the ss454 pickups. any and all information on how to find number of them produced will be greatly appreciated.

i got very excited to find other owners of SC and chevy sports, this era is about as cool as there ever was, in my opinion.
