Looking for NOS trim rings for the 15x8 rallys or some pristine used ones.

I bought a new set (not NOS) from a local guy for $55 that look great but they have not made it onto the truck yet .

I think you still may be able to get these from GM. I know few years ago you could still get them because I priced them but they were well out of my price range.

I will call my buddy in the morning. He is very good at locating old discontinued GM parts if they can be found he can get them.

Hey man my guy can still get them. Part #3923626 and they are 8" rings but they are very very expensive. Dealer cost is $155.00 each and he sells to me for 10% over dealer cost so rings plus tax he said would be $700.00. OUCH

These appear to be the original rings for the Corvette wheels. The ones I need are for the 15x8 wheels used on the pu's in the mid 80's.

That p/n is not for the truck ones, and the deep ones in that ebay link will fit but are not the same as the truck type, they have a different shape to them and an extra inner lip. Mel

I know that they are not the truck type but the 8" Vette rally type will work for what he wants. I need to know the truck type part #.

Here is a picture of the type Tom is asking for, I am pretty sure that they are a truck only application for the 15" rallys used through 87. If laid on a flat surface this truck type would only be 2 & 3/8" tall, the other 8" rings that alot of guys use are deeper. Tom, I am surprised that you never called me on these, wont be cheap but I can set you up with an NOS set of four. Are you going to be up to Portland anytime soon, you can give me a call to discuss? Those are the deeper type with the extra inner lip that I mentioned in my above reply, for most they are fine and readily available without any searching, you know the old saying... different strokes for different folks. Mel

Hey Mel, I just put these on my list to hunt down. You did notice I mentioned your name in the opening post?

I'll give you call to discuss these. No plan on a Portland trip at this time. I will have my booth again at the swap meet in April. If it works out I could get them then. Thanks, Tom
