let me guess, people here in california remove all their smog equipment after they smog their vehicles then put all their performance parts back on. After all, one days of work for smog then two years of play with performance.

No we just use smog legal parts, , did that route before, have better things to do than spend a day making it illeagal again, . Jegs sells Headers that are 50 state legal, also THORLEYS are street legal.

Edelbrock TES Headers
Application Chart I have these, but they are not installed yet. They seem to be a quality product. There are a few members who have them. You can buy them from just about anywhere. www.jegs.com www.summitracing.com or your local parts store (Checker, Autozone, etc.). Your local store will most likely not have them in stock, but will order them for you and you can pick them up and pay for them at the local store.

I have Edelbrock TES headers. Great product. But they ain't cheap. I had mine aluminum/ceramic coated. I've got way to much money in my exhaust.

When buying headers for a truck with the A.I.R. emissions system make sure you get some headers with welded in injection tubes. The bolted ones come loose and leak over time, just like the stock manifolds. Many headers are street legal, but do not have the emissions tubes required for most emissions inspections.
