drop kit
whats up guys i just orederd a belltech drop kit 4/6 with spindles flip kit and c notch. I just had a few questions about what i would have to change. im running 8'' rallys in the front with 275/60/r-15 tires would i have to change them to a smaller width so they woint rub? Also i have long tube headers should i go short or will i have no problem with them not rubing

A 5-6 drop is what my friend has on his rig. He has some header issues with some speadbps and sorts but not to awfully bad

i have 5/6 an i had to change headers....u should be ok on tire size though

I have basically that setup. The headers probably will be ok, I have long tube headers and I've never hit them. Running the rallyes you will probably have to grind on the lower a-arms for clearance, and maybe the spindle and caliper a little, none of that is unusual.

Unless they are familiar with lowering these trucks they may not grind the lower a-arms for you, citing safety reasons. I would talk to them about it first. The spindle and caliper are no big deal there is plenty of material there, but I could see a front end shop not wanting to grind what it takes to make a 15" wheel fit. Just thinkin.

This is not a great pic, but might give you an idea. This is what I had to do mine to get rallyes and my aluminum 15" wheels to fit. As long as you don't get into the rolled area the strength is still there, but it looks scary.

Zero. Drives fine about 20k on it since spindles.

No, spindles and coils is the way to go as far as I'm concerned.
