New Tach
I oredered a new tach from classic chevy and i am planning to install this weekend. I also ordered a the Tach Filter in which is recommended by Classic parts. The directions are very vague, it says red wire to negative side of coil- yellow to tach sidnal post and black to ground. So i would hook it up in line of regular hook up or with the regular hook up. Please be patient with me as i have a hard time understanding electrical.

Would have to be in line....the factory tachs were self grounding, and you only hooked up to the negative side of the coil, another (+) wire for the light

No, my cold turned into bronchitis. Ill get it in the mail tomorrow though. Did the other ones work out ok for you?

yes i did, but i am having confusion on the filter for the tach..... i will install the gauge package and add the vacuum gauge later as he isn't ready to ship them. i am taking photos as i go so i can post if need be.
