blinker trouble

I need some help with the blinkers on my 54. I am in the process of installing a Ez21 harness and I am testing as I go. I wired the blinkers and brakes lights and I can get them to come on but the blinkers do not blink. Any help would be great. Thank you. Josh

Re: blinker trouble

I take it that you have a flasher hooked up in your fuse panel? Also if you are using any type of LED light they require a different flasher. Also did you try it with your iginition on?

Just thinking out loud.

Good luck
Marc

Re: blinker trouble

I am using the flasher in the fuse panel. I got it to work if I put more draw on it. I think I need to get a different flasher.

Re: blinker trouble

You will need one something like this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Flasher-Led-...item2ebbd5a259

You should be able to get it locally but the prices I have seen can be pretty stiff on them.

Re: blinker trouble

The thing is I dont have led lights. I plan on upgrading down the road but have lights with 1157 bulbs in the back and the stock marker lights in the front.

Re: blinker trouble

i think your flasher is bad. the ezwire 21 has 2 flashers for blinkers and 4ways. swap them out.
i have led rear lites but standard bulbs up front, this was enough load to activate them.
