Middle Console

Hey everyone,
I have a question. Have any of you ever built a console for your truck (with cup holders, compartments, etc)? What were the measurements you used and how did you finish it (stain or fabric)? I thought it would nice for my daily driver. Thanks for the help! Please add some pictures, I would love to have some ideas to go from.

Re: Middle Console

Check out Cajunddraggers build thread and he built one out of fiberglass. Doesn't look to difficult or expensive, more labor intensive.

Re: Middle Console

Cajundragger mentioned the same website in his thread that I was going to mention. A good website is fiberglassforums.com. They have a ton of info on there and step by step instructions. I'm going to reference them when I start my build.

Re: Middle Console

The seats are from a sunbird, the dash extension is made from a fence board with a peice of emt conduit split down the middle .

Re: Middle Console

I you don't want to make a console, junk yards are full of them. I was first going to use one from a dodge neon.
